Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters, led by Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, UBS Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, in connection with a registered offering by Apollo Global Management, LLC of 11,000,000 shares of 6.375% Series A Preferred Shares, representing $275 million in aggregate liquidation preference. The Preferred Shares are expected to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “APO PR A.”
Apollo is a leading global alternative investment manager with total assets under management of approximately $192 billion as of December 31, 2016.
