Corporate Partner Roxane Reardon was quoted in an article in Law360, which discusses the busiest two-month stretch of 2016 in the IPO market, with 19 companies going public in October and 16 companies in September. With the U.S. presidential election distracting markets now and year-end holidays approaching, market analysts expect a slow finish for IPOs in 2016 but note the resurgence in September and October could bode well for next year. “When we talk to companies and banks, there are high hopes for 2017,” Roxane said. “There is a sense that with some of the anxieties driven by the election behind us, 2017 looks like a normal-course year. There are more large companies — especially in the tech space — waiting to go public.”
