Simpson Thacher Represents Blackstone and AVINTIV in the Sale of AVINTIV to Berry Plastics

The Firm is representing Blackstone and AVINTIV Inc. in connection with Blackstone’s sale of AVINTIV to Berry Plastics Group, Inc. (NYSE: BERY) for approximately $2.45 billion in cash on a debt-free, cash-free basis.

AVINTIV is one of the world’s leading developers, producers, and marketers of specialty materials used in infection prevention, personal care, and high-performance solutions.
