On April 25, the New York office hosted 22 high school freshmen and sophomores from the Bronx Engineering and Technology Academy as part of the Firm’s Urban Education Initiative. The program included tours of the Firm, a panel discussion where speakers described their careers and education, and a resume and interviewing skills workshop. Twenty-one Simpson Thacher staff members and attorneys participated in this visit, which was coordinated by Christopher Garcia, Senior Real Estate paralegal, Eric Gyasi, Corporate associate, Jasmine Kaufman, Corporate associate, and Rebecca Warner, Corporate paralegal. Litigation Partner Linda Martin gave welcoming remarks to the students.
