Simpson Thacher recently represented Becton Dickinson & Company in a registered offering of $500 million 1.750% Notes due 2016 and $1.0 billion of 3.125% Notes due 2021.
Goldman Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC acted as representatives of the several underwriters in the offering.
Becton Dickinson & Company is a leading global medical technology company that develops, manufactures and sells medical devices, instrument systems and reagents. Becton Dickinson & Company intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the notes for general corporate purposes.
