The Hong Kong office of the Firm represented China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited (“Mingyang Wind Power”) in its initial public offering and listing on the New York Stock Exchange of 25,000,000 American Depositary Shares each representing one ordinary share of Mingyang Wind Power on October 1, 2010. Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse and BofA Merrill Lynch acted as joint bookrunners for the offering. Mingyang Wind Power raised a total of US$350 million in gross proceeds from the offering, assuming no exercise of the over-allotment option.
The Mingyang Wind Power IPO represents the largest initial public offering in the United States by a China-based company to date in 2010. The ADSs of Mingyang Wind Power are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "MY".
