Simpson Thacher Represents Virgin Mobile USA in Initial Public Offering

Simpson Thacher recently represented Virgin Mobile USA, Inc. in connection with the initial public offering of 27,500,000 shares of Class A common stock, for an aggregate price to the public of $412.5 million. Virgin Mobile's Class A common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “VM”.

Virgin Mobile is a leading national provider of wireless communications services, offering prepaid, or pay-as-you-go, services targeted at the youth market. It was founded in 2001 as a joint venture between Richard Branson’s Virgin Group and Sprint Nextel. The Firm has represented Virgin Mobile since inception.
