Simpson Thacher Represents Initial Purchasers in Block’s $2 Billion Senior Notes Offering

The Firm recently represented the initial purchasers, led by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, in connection with Block, Inc.’s offering of $2 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.50% Senior Notes due 2032. The notes were offered to qualified institutional buyers in reliance on Rule 144A and outside the United States to non-U.S. persons pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended.

Block, Inc. is a global technology company with a focus on financial services. Made up of Square, Cash App, TIDAL, and TBD, Block builds tools to help more people access the economy.
