Franklin Templeton Acquires Lexington Partners

The Firm is representing Lexington Partners in connection with its proposed sale to Franklin Templeton for $1.75 billion. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval. 

Lexington Partners is a leading global manager of secondary private equity and co-investment funds that has raised in excess of $55 billion in aggregate commitments from more than 1,000 institutional investors, deploying capital across more than 4,500 secondary, co-investment and primary interests.
