Simpson Thacher represented KKR Europe in connection with the financing related to its acquisition of a majority interest in Master Distancia, S.A. (“MasterD”), a vocational training company that provides over 280 courses to more than 50,000 learners annually in Spain and Portugal. The deal represents the second investment in Europe made out of the KKR Global Impact Fund, geared to investing in opportunities where financial performance and societal impact are intrinsically aligned.
