Simpson Thacher is representing Silver Lake Partners in connection with the committed debt financing for its proposed acquisition of TEG, Asia Pacific’s leading live entertainment and ticketing company. Silver Lake has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TEG from funds advised by Affinity Equity Partners (S) Pte Ltd and its affiliates. The transaction is expected to close later this year and is subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board.
