Simpson Thacher has been recognized by Asian-MENA Counsel’s Deals of the Year 2018 for deals completed within Asia and the Middle East. The Firm had three deals recognized as “Winning Deal of the Year 2018” and one deal recognized as “Honourable Mention: Deal of the Year 2018.”

Winning deals include Simpson Thacher’s representation of Siliconware Precision Industrial Limited in its US$3.35 billion merger with Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, representation of Ant Financial in its US$14 billion Series C financing, which is the biggest single-funding round ever, and representation of international managers in the US$1.2 billion IPO of Mercari.

Deal earning Honourable Mention is our representation of KKR in its acquisition of Ramky Enviro Engineers.
