The Firm recently won “Equity Market Deal of the Year,” “Korea Deal of the Year” and “Technology, Media and Communications Deal of the Year” at the 2017 Asian Legal Business Korea Law Awards for its representation of the underwriters in connection with the US$1.97 billion Samsung BioLogics IPO. The offering marked the largest equity deal in South Korea since 2010 and the largest ever in the biopharmaceutical industry in Asia.
The Firm was also a finalist in five other categories, including “Deal Firm of the Year,” “International Law Firm of the Year,” “Debt Market Deal of the Year,” “Projects, Energy and Infrastructure Deal of the Year” and “M&A Deal of the Year.” In addition, Corporate Partner Youngjin Sohn was a finalist in the “Dealmaker of the Year” category.
