Tsinghua to Acquire 51% Interest in Hewlett-Packard’s Chinese Networking and Technology Infrastructure Business

The Firm is representing affiliates of Tsinghua University in connection with the acquisition of a 51% interest in a newly created business comprising Hewlett-Packard’s subsidiary, H3C Technologies, and HP’s China-based server, storage and technology services businesses. The newly created company will have a total value of approximately $4.5 billion. The transaction is expected to close near the end of 2015, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
